This dummy battery helps us keep the weight down on our Shoulder Rig. Whether we use it to power a monitor, wireless transmitter or light we only have to have one battery powering everything and running through this dummy batteries. This is a very sturdy addition to our kit and no more Velcro to attach it with the screw it attaches directly to the cheese plate.

Arrived with broken port area where the wire feeds into the dummy battery. While I did use this with no issues, I would not trust this to supply my monitor and I brought regular batteries in case it failed. For $40 I would expect at least some more integrity around the wire ports.

I was using this with a dtap battery to power my atmos monitor and it randomly shut off then I noticed the battery had melted. Do not recommend

Using this to get D-Tap power to my Sony FX3, this is the second one I have bought, very happy with it. Used the other on my Sony A1

Embarrassingly spend 5 minutes trying to get it work, plugged it into the Vlock battery itself, the camera's Dtap. nothing. Lucky I had a spare NPF battery to run the Ninja V. I've tried it on the Ninja as well as the Zoom F6 and both don't work.I need a replacement as soon as possible.
