Your cart is empty.When left unglazed, these underglazes have a soft, velour look. Glaze with clear matte glaze for a satin finish, or gloss glaze to intensify color. Mix to create hundreds of colors. Apply to greenware before firing, or on 04 bisque and cover with a glaze before firing to Cone 05-10. Includes twelve 2 oz. colors: intense yellow, flame orange, bright red, rose, amethyst, medium blue, electric blue, light green, dark green, teddy bear brown, jet black and white.

Good colors, easy application

These are described as being able to be fired from Cone 05 - Cone 10, but many of the colors, especially the warmer colors, burn off/disappear at Cone 6. The images show before and after firing to Cone 6 - you can see the walls of the house we're supposed to be rose, but that color disappeared almost completely, leaving streaks that look like nail polish. This has been a consistent problem and I'm just now realizing why, so I thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else.
