I love that they lock together! I had to use a plier to open the hook to get them apart BUT They went back together easily and I could tighten them back too. That last part made the neighbor kids mad. lol

I've had these a few years. It is just enough to keep the dogs out of the garden area. I do recommend pulling them in the fall before the weeds grow in as they are not that sturdy and I have wrecked some a little but they still work. (Your seasonal weed growth may differ). It is nice that they are light and moveable and can be moved where needed, fold up readily and are easy to store. Chihuahuas can fit through the gaps, so it doesn't work for really small dogs.

I have purchased the 50ft set 3 times -- not because they didn't last, but because the work so well and we keep expanding our garden. The reason I needed fencing was not so much to keep animals out (though it seems to work at keeping the rabbits away, and it slows down the crazy squirrel chases!), but because I wanted to protect our newly planted flowers from the lawn guys. On a few occasions, either one of my Daylilies or spriggy Russian Sage has been the victim of their weed-wackers. :/ Another reason I use this fencing it to help prop up/support heavy branched roses or Hardy Hydrangea that tend to droop or break in heavy winds or rain storms. I also use the fence as protection from our neighbor's basketball court: we don't have a divider fence in our yard, so this garden fence helps protect the flowering shrubs from wayward bound basketballs. This fencing has saved our garden!Additonal Pros:Price:You get 50ft of fencing for such an awesome price ($28-$32). Other brands offer only 10 ft of fencing at about the same price -- I'll pass. As long as this fencing is offered at this price, I will keep buying and I'll keep telling neighbors where to buy!Color:I love that the fencing is GREEN, so it is pretty up close, yet subtle enough that it blends into the landscape and doesn't make the garden look cluttered (as it would with a white fence).Easy to Customize --- though you may need a screw driver or pliers to pull the hooks open a bit. Most of the time, I can just use my fingers to hook or unhook each piece of the fence, but there are times when I do need to use a tool to help if a particular hook is too tight.Cons:None really, considering all the perks as mentioned above. There have been a few ground spikes that have broken off, but having clay soil is tough on any spike. Our ground is hard as a rock and my husband isn't the most delicate when doing yard work *rolls eyes*. Considering we've purchased several sets and have only lost about 4 spikes, I am not rating this product down for it. If you hold the spike as you push the fence into the ground, you won't have any issues. But yeah, if you go through a few winter snowy seasons, and have left the fence out (which we do), and you try to shove the spike into hard clay soil (wet it first!), then yeah --- one may expect that you may break a spike. On the other hand, on the ones that have a spike broken, only one of 2 on that fence piece was affected, so the fence partition still works -- just attach the broken off side to a new partition. Works just fine. Again, losing only 4 spikes out of over 100 ft of fencing is no biggie. All in all, this fencing is pretty and functional. I LUV it!

Exactly what I expected and wanted. I was looking for some discreet border fencing to put along my flowerbeds and walkways to hold holiday lights. Discreet is right. These are barely noticeable. The pieces are 18 inches total, but only about 12 inches is above ground. One of my main concerns, and why I wanted a thin, easy to bend metal, is my soil. It has a lot of rocks. A lot. They are impossible to avoid. I was able to bend the legs to go in the ground while avoiding rocks without having to move the whole fence piece and mess up the line. It's perfect. The pieces come pre-attached. They can be easy or not as easy to separate depending on the piece, but I 100% appreciated the pre-linking. It took much less time to put them up. The good thing about the thin wire is that it can be bent to make/follow a curve or bypass an obstacle and cut without power tools to fit your space if need be.-- Do they work? Yes, for me and my simple purpose of stringing holiday lights through them.-- Are they sturdy? Yes and no. Yes, they went into the ground (softened by rain) without issue and are standing up as expected. But no, they're not "sturdy" in the way that they couldn't be bent up by a toddler.-- Can animals get past it? Yes, of course.-- What kind of animals? Depends on the size and agility of the animal. It's a border fence, not a privacy or security fence. It's mostly for flowerbeds and decorative purposes. If the animal or person is able to step or push over a 1 foot tall barrier that's as thick as a piece of cardboard, then they can go past this fence if they want to. If the spaces are too far apart and something small is getting through, line up 1 row of fence, then line up another directly behind it and offset the pieces to close the gaps. Zip tie the rows together and you're good.-- Is this a long-term border? Possibly. Over time, the legs will rust and weaken depending on the amount of moisture in the dirt. The fence will start leaning due to wind and its own weight. If you want this "cheap fix" to last longer, you can always double up your fence pieces to thicken them and add stability. Zip tie a 2nd row directly behind the first row.If you go through the reviews, most of the negative posts are from people who didn't pay attention to the measurements that are given in the title, product info, and then again for all the customers asking "what are the measurements?" in the questions section and/or from people expecting professional border fencing for little money. That's not the seller's or the product's fault. You can tell by the product pictures that the metal is thin. You can also tell by the info given (taken with a grain of salt bc sellers are trying to sell you a product). Ultimately, if you're still not sure after reading the product info, seeing the pictures, and reading reviews... look at the price. You're paying for cheap fencing and you're getting cheap fencing. Online shopping is easy. Don't make it hard.

Quality not as good as I expected from the description but it was cheap and did serve its purpose. Wish it was easier to separate the panels to customize for my space. Worked fine

This was the perfect solution for keeping our grandkids from trampling my seedlings. Easy to instal, sturdy and discrete. Now we are thinking of putting more around the tulips beds next spring to keep the ducks off the young shoots. I found it pricey but well worth the money
