The bearing seized up. I emailed customer support they answered within hours and are sending out a replacement.The bit work great for shaker style doors and with the shims they supplied the you can adjust how snug you want the pieces to fit together. I’d buy it again.

I was able to customize this cutter for making shaker style doors from 13/16" material, using only one cutter and making two passes to take off approximately 9/32" on each side of the tongue cut. I also ripped material 1/16" larger than needed and made two passes for a clean groove cut... A little extra work but nice doors with a 3hp shaper

I turned old salvaged fence pickets into T and G boards for a door I built. They kept cutting some old hard wood. Amana has been around a while, good stuff
