My husband and kids love to fish, but the kids get antsy holding their poles. I found these and ordered them for Father's Day. He loved them. Just recently built a boat and these were the perfect addition. My boys enjoyed having pole holders. We used them for the first time this weekend in a fishing tournament.

They were not expensive items, so I expected some flaws. The inside liner comes out with your rod sometimes.

They're nice. Made good replacements for the factory plastic rod holders that came on my Cape Horn 17. I had to make some minor modifications to the holes the original ones were in, but its not that big a deal.

Seem to be good quality. Wish they were a bit deeper, as rod handle may not go in as far as one would like.

Verified junk, 4 poor spot welds that just melted the top ring barely to the bottom piece, this thing is going to break. Looks like they use the rubber insert to hide the quality of work, I saw no welds on the bottom shaft like other well made holders and thought it suspect, further inspection proved this thing has no place on your boat! Buyer beware!
