The hardware we got with new dog guillotine doors for our new glass dog runs at our animal shelter arrived as the wrong part so we had to look for another option since the replacements couldn't get there quick enough. I found these and thought they would be perfect for daily cleaning and tough enough for daily use. I think they will be perfect. We even ordered two more sets to put higher up so we can half-close the doors for small dogs so it isn't so drafty for them being wide open in the normal clip location. In the end I like these more than what was supposed to come with the doors initially! The guillotine doors are metal and heavy and these hold the load just fine!

Good quality. Wider than pad eyes. Holes to small for tri-grip, watertight rivets. Holes can be drilled large enough for the rivets with a little care and patience. I used them on a kayak. Nicer look than a pad eye. For most applications I’ll stick with regular pad eyes.

Mounting these on a pair of kayaks for paddle, and other leashes. They are the perfect size and extremely strong. I'm already thinking of other uses around the house and shop, so I will most definitely be purchasing more of these. The price is great, too.

I dipped these in liquid rubber and bolted these to my kayaks. They are great for locking them up outside, attaching carabiners for extra gear/bags, towlines, or for hooking caught fish to the boat. Much cheaper than buying the kayak brands.
