These do exactly what I wanted them to do. They seem like they're good quality, nice and smooth, with a nice finish. I had a hard time finding these elsewhere online. I slipped the string through and tied it to a small metal washer to keep the string from pulling back through the hole. The washer fits inside the bottom hole. A knot might also be effective, depending on the thickness of your pull cord.

It seems I have a talent for shutting my windows on the wooden blind finials, which of course shatters them into pieces. These have saved my blinds several times. They are nice quaity and look just like the ones I'm replacing.

Replacement for missing ones on cords of old bamboo roll up blinds. The hole to thread into was small so took a while to get them on but with patience I did it and they work just as originals.

Yes I read the description before purchasing but didn’t realize that heavy drapes require a heavier duty pull than these. Would be more apt to be suitable in a larger size.
