We use this to scan medical records and insurance cards. It works well with Open Dental software. We had to call customer support a couple of times to set up but they were very helpful.

I had this for a few months, and it worked perfect. Now it says it says it's not connected to the power when I try to scan, but it is. Nothing resolves this problem. Total junk.

Purchased this to scan id's and insurance cards at a medical clinic. Fairly easy to set up. Sometimes a bit finicky on pulling card through but overall a good piece of hardware. Cannot rate higher than 4 at this point as have only been in service 2 months.

I use these scanners for my customers. They can be a bit temperamental at times. I think they can sometimes pull a bit more usb power than smaller pc can handle at times. But that is because the pc's are smaller

These scanners caused a lot and don't scan very fast but they definitely fit anywhere on any desk. So many of my customers who are doctor's offices exclusively want the scanners because they are small and you can put them anywhere on already busy desks and reception areas and back office areas where normally a regular size scanner would not fit. The software isn't perfect but it does the job. This one particularly has single pass duplex scanning which I really like. Make sure you don't lose the cleaning paper because you will want that later!
