After using the monitor for about two weeks, I can say that I would highly recommend this monitor. In fact, I use this now as my primary side monitor to project my security cameras. The monitor seems to have a wide viewing angle that allows for flexible mounting options. Color and clarity is great, and controls are easy to use and adjust. The audio is not that great, but I don’t think much is expected from integrated monitor speakers, particularly one that is so thin like this one is.In unboxing and setup, I found that the monitor was well packed, and while there was not much packing material and information, I think that is alright, because after all this is a monitor and surely most people know how to setup and install a monitor. While the packaging is not flashy and colorful, I think it is plenty sufficient given all the specs that the box has on the outside.Assembly was simple, and the materials all seem to be of good quality. I really like the small bezel that this monitor has. I think the only knock against the materials (in my eyes) is the power cord. I was expecting the standard 3 prong cord that most monitors use. The cord with transformer seems a bit cheap, but I suppose that is what is needed for this monitor. I don’t plan on moving this much, so I’m sure it should hold up fine.All in all, I have been really happy with this monitor. It replaces a 22†monitor that I was using, and the extra 2 inches is really noticeable. The pricing seems pretty reasonable for a monitor of this size and quality. Given the price point, I think I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good always on surveillance monitor.

Have the monitor hooked up to my eight security cameras and very pleased with the picture quality and the value for the money. The base to the monitor is wide enough to support the screen without worry of falling over. The monitor has very clear picture with video playback, which to me is very important. Of course you make the necessary adjustments for better results. I wanted to wait before writing a review to put out honest results and performance. I gave it four stars, five is a-little Extreme.

First impressions out of the box the monitor is very light and aesthetically pleasing with thin bezels. 24" is a good size to be big enough to see multiple cameras but not too big where the monitor will take up too much space since all I'm using it for is displaying camera feeds.I mounted it on a desktop arm and the monitor already has the VESA pattern holes to accept screws.Picture quality is clear and bright with adjustable settings. You have actual physical buttons for the settings so no broken touch buttons or vagueness. Built in speakers are a nice touch as I'm using this with a USB C dock to HDMI so the setup is very clean. You have HDMI, VGA, Sound, and Power ports.I'm glad Amcrest noted that the monitor is designed to be left on all the time. I have a previous monitor by Amcrest that I've been using for a year and it's still working great.I recommend this if you want a dependable monitor for surveillance!

I have several CCTV cameras throughout my business and home, so having a monitor to be able to view the cameras is vital. While they do record to a hard drive, I occasionally like to watch the cameras streaming live. This Amcrest monitor is designed for CCTV systems, since the idea is that the monitor is supposed to be on all the time. This reduces screen burnout, which you could get from normal monitors. This monitor has an excellent resolution and provides clear and sharp images. Whether monitoring a single camera or multiple feeds, the detail is impressive. Setting up the monitor is straightforward. It comes with all necessary cables and a user-friendly manual, making installation a hassle-free process even for those with limited technical expertise. In my case, my DVR for my camera has HDMI output, so it was simply a matter of plugging in a single cable. This monitor supports both HDMI and VGA, so it's likely going to be compatible with whatever DVR system you have. Unlike a lot of other monitors out there, this one actually has speakers in it, so if your cameras provide sound, this is a great option. My older system, BNC style, does not have sound, so I do not need the speakers at this time; however, when I upgrade the systems, I'll be able to use the speakers. The high-quality materials make it a reliable choice for long-term use. I do not foresee there being an issue with this monitor in the future.

Does what you want a monitor to do, but a bit better! I love the fact this has speakers in it, most monitors do not in this size/price range. The viewing angle is great as well as the color and depth. Designed to run 24/7 so it won't turn blue after a few years either. Another great product from Amcrest!
