Finally got around to installing this and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Lots of great features, but there are two key things to point out that would've made me more confident to buy this model, and for which I was very glad to have this particular model:1. The mount is all kinds of configurable, e.g. I have a 3 hole pattern on mine projector not 4 hole, not an issue at all. The diagram shows the mount at 3 heights that is because there are 3 main ways you assemble it: directly to the ceiling plate (like 2" off the ceiling and what I ended up going with), and then a combination of 11 to 20ish" with the nesting tubes.2. The swiveling ball mount adds a HUGE amount of flexibility in how you use this. For example, mine is mounted off center with my screen and I was concerned I wouldn't be able to adjust the keystone enough to make it look right. Totally not an issue with the swivel because you can just adjust the horizontal angle of the projector (so it's slightly off level) so you can manually adjust the projected image up or down a large amount, and also left or right of course, and of also adjust if the image isn't stable due to projecting from the side like I am. The lever to release and lock the swivel is long and easy to manipulate. Super good build and design on this mount, but this one really adds the most I think.

This mount is a bit more expensive than other universal mounts but it fits larger projectors easily. I installed my Epson LS11000 with this mount. My one complaint is that the ball joint to adjust the direction the projector is pointing is hard to adjust. I probably adjusted it 10 times before i was happy with it. Still, that is a pretty minor complaint given that its a one time adjustment.

Nice solid mount. Easy to mount. Looks great with projector. Only downside is 5 1/2†and 14 1/2†- 22 1/2â€. No coverage between 5 1/2†- 14 1/2â€.

One of the few mounts I could find that was just the right length to hang my ultra-short-throw projector under my suspended ceiling. There are more than enough mounting bracket holes to support even the heaviest of projectors and the hollow tubing for hiding the cables is great as well.

The product was easy to install and allowed me to have great install height options. I mounted benq 3550 flush to floor joists with out the extension bars and looks great. Very sturdy and does not move mush when people are moving around on the floor above.

This stand is not only rock solid, but the gimbal joint allows perfect alignment of the image. My new BenQ HT3550 Projector is a lot heavier than my old projector and my old stand just wasn't up to the job both in weight and ability to hold steady.I can not recommend this mount highly enough - so good.

This is an excellent mount. I used it with an Epson Home Cinema 3800 which has a bit winder mounting holes. Most of the cheaper mounts, even some of the more expensive ones, wouldn't fit it.This fits it no problem. It it's sturdy and easy to adjust. Several months later I haven't had it shift even a little, it's still exactly where I set it.It's worth spending a little extra, it looks really good and feels like a proper mount.
