They were a little bigger on her. BUT that was okay considering it was for post spaying. Annabelle is 5 lbs 9 oz and we chose a X-Small. They fit perfect IMHO. They also allow for extra room for a boogie pad, which is what we use in the reusable dog diapers. This brand of disposable is the best that I have purchased. Annabelle is 3 and Amayiah is 7, we have used disposable and reusable diapers over the years.Great quality, and very absorbent. They do not leak. They are held together with Velcro. They seem to be comfortable as she never tried to take them off.

I have a large mastiff and bought the large for her however, they’re just too small. Apparently they make a double X size but they don’t sell them on Amazon. Very disappointing. Company sell that double X and you will sell a lot more of these. Most of the others really suck.

I have a 70lb Doberman, the same dog as shown in the picture, and for the life of me the diaper does not stay on.These diapers are not friendly for dogs with docked tail and the diaper is way too small. She is not a fat dog, she has on the lean side, and it will not fit without being too snug, and the velcro will just rip right off if she moves.I do not recommend these diapers for larger dogs. They will NOT work.

I tried these AKC female disposable diapers since the usual brand I buy through Amazon is commonly out of stock....the size Small (12-20 waist) fit my 8-yr old, 8.5-lb Pom well, are absorbent and the sticky tabs stay put (even after adjusting). Price is reasonable, as well. Only problem is the hole needs to be larger....it's big enough to fit her tail through it but not enough where she can do "#2" if she has an accident inside. Many small dogs like to tinkle in the middle of the night, no matter how many times you let them out before bedtime....I just have to keep buying diapers even though she gets a bit "salty" about them (LOL), so I can save my carpets!!

Purchased AKC Disposable Diapers size Large for our 3 year old lean build german shepherd to use while in heat. And they only partially cover the necessary "area".Giving 3 stars because I think there is potential and perhaps on a dog with a different build it might be a great product. See more on that below. The price was the best at the time, but what good is that if the product doesn't work.FIT: I measured the actual diaper and my dog to compare to the sites guide. You can see that it is accurate. It maybe that the hole placement for the tail is either too big or in the wrong spot, or maybe the shape of the diaper is wrong? It is cut the same shape as a childs diaper. I Never could figure out how to better measure to ensure fit. I will say I picked up some reusable Alfie diapers (size large) and they fit so much better! I'm not sure if this has anything to do with coverage, but I did notice the width of those are much more narrow.QUALITY: They continued to stay on through multiple potty breaks and they didn't easily tare. Keep in mind, we only used a handful of them and our dog is pretty timid.ABSORPTION: There seems to be plenty of padding. I wanted to see if they would leak. So I did trial and poured over a cup water into them. They held it and within a moment the very obvious blue lines showed up. Unfortunately, since the diaper doesn't cover that are on my dog, it wouldn't do any good! In fact, she ran out and pottied one time before I got it off and the diaper was completely dry.

Nothing wrong with them. They are just too small. I’ll reorder the medium ones as soon as these are down!!

We have purchased several designs of washable wraps for our miniature poodle. They are bulky all over, not just where it's important, making the garment uncomfortable for our female to walk, sit or lay down. She hates them, paces, runs in circles, miserable. Found these Female Disposable Diapers by AKC, they are perfect. Honestly can't find anything to complain about. They fit comfortably with no bulk around the hips and waist. Thick and absorbent, yet soft, no leaking where it's important. No odor, no perfumes either. Good coverage. Velcro is surprisingly strong and adjustable. Our little gal tolerates the design well, slept comfortably through the night. Good value. $O.36 per diaper. Will definitly purchase again. (Note: our search was prompted by our female going into heat just as Hurricane Helene was forecast to head our way. Storm supplies call for rationing water, so washing reusable diapers or mandatory evacuations, & other circumstances surrounding hurricanes, wasn't going offer options to do a lot of laundry. Now that we have purchased these AKC diapers, likely to Only use these in the future because of the comfort features.)

I originally noticed this brand at Ross but then they were no longer available so I was happy to see that Amazon has them. They are a few more dollars than Ross but Amazon ships them quickly enough which in my opinion evens out the price of me having to waste my gas & time going to Ross and they will not likely have them anyway. These are good value compared to other brands that I’ve tried in the past (mind you, my dog is 10 years old). They are leak proof and fit my mini poodle perfectly, she wears a size S and weighs 7lbs. She can take them off if she wants to but she doesn’t. For the most part, they stay on and don’t fall off but you have to strap it tightly enough.
