The Day Clock clearly spells out the current time and part of the day, day of the week, and date and month with no confusing abbreviations.

I debated a while before I bought this clock and made the right choice. It is large enough to read at a longer distance and helps the person with both the day and the time but the time of the day. Dark winter days and nights make it hard to tell if it is day or night and this clock clearly displays both. It comes preprogrammed for EST and was very easy to set up. I am very pleased with this purchase and am so glad that Amazon has it available.

My Mom is struggling to remember what day of the week it is. She struggles to remember if it’s morning or evening after a nap. I bought two these for her. One sits by her bed so when she wakes up she can see the day. The other is by her pills so she can match up the day on the clock with the day on her pill container. Works great, she loves them. Set up was plug and play easy. Price reflects good quality. Display doesn’t get too warm. Date and time is accurate.

We bought the over-age-80 clock for a 96-year old as a "gift of time" and will joke that if he thinks this clock is big, wait until he sees the one we get when he is over 100 :-). Actually, the over-80 clock is a wonderful size at any age and we like it so much we will get one for ourselves. I searched for a long time for a simple clock that you can see from across the room and this one wins the prize. It is very easy to set up and the display is very crisp. Some people comment that it doesn't show the correct time. This is not an atomic clock and is not connected to the internet. You manually set the time. I waited until my atomic clock ticked over and set the time to match and it seems to stay nicely in sync.

Purchased this as a gift for mom who is 93 years old for Christmas. She loves it - no missing the date or time anymore - all she has to do is look over on the counter. It cannot be missed. It's great for all people who are retired when the days run into one another. I like the idea of the back-up as well.

My wife is in a memory care unit and she asked for a clock like this. It arrived overnight, and I was able to plug it in, set it to Daylight time (at least for a few days...lol) and set it by her TV, to her delight. I got totally WILD and order a second one for my house and set-up was quick and easy like above BUT, the CORD comes out the SIDE. It cannot be hung on the wall, without TAPING the cord, which follow the LAW...the law of GRAVITY. It tilts to the right because the engineers did not CENTER the cord coming out of the clock body. It's very readable, does the job, but that kinda dinged it for me.

I bought this for my husband so he could remember to take his medicine. We have the 8"x6" with the white frame. It does not take up much space on my kitchen counter. I wasn't sure if I wanted a white frame, but it really highlights the black background making the white lettering stand out. It shows the month, date, day of the week, and the period of day(morning/afternoon). The alarm is easily heard all over the house. It is one of the easiest clocks I've ever had to program. It arrived at my house in a timely manner and in good condition. This company cares about providing a good product for its customers. This item was a pleasant surprise, and I am so happy we took a chance on it. I sincerely recommend purchasing this.

This digital clock is a great size and easily readable. For anyone who struggles with keeping up with the day of the week and the date, it displays both clearly. Period of the day such as Morning or Afternoon also displayed. Smart appearance overall. I recommend it.

My mother is 88 year old. She had memory problem. She was unable remember the day , date & Time. Now we have kept this clock in the leaving room where she spend most of her time. She keep seeing the clock. Till goes to night bed she will be able to remember the DAY , TIME , DATE. which has helped a lot. I recommend this product for elderly people. Thanks
