Perfect size for proofing bread dough. Granny had one but hers was galvanize metal. This is stainless and so easy to clean. Also holds a salad for 100 people…. Well almost!

While this bowl does in fact hold 13 quarts, it is a rather shallow design. Very good for serving a huge salad for a large group, not so great for trying to mix large quantities. I nearly returned the bowl because I was so disappointed in the shallowness of it, but sheer desperation for a LARGE bowl caused me to keep it. It has come in useful for potlucks and group meals.The stainless steel is good enough for my use, no rusting, and is strong enough to carry it with weight without it bending or folding up. So a well made bowl.

For what i need it, my espresso grinder this is perfect.I'd recommend it to anyone.It already lasts me for several years now and it is probably live long quality.
