As a wooden sugar packet holder, it does its claimed function remarkably well. Nothing more -- nothing less. To be clear, the holder does not hold wooden sugar packets, but is itself made out of wood. The people from the incredibly mis-named American Metalcraft should be proud to be associated with a wooden sugar packet holder product that so far exceeds expectations such as this.

I ended up white washing the product. The color that showed in the picture was not exactly what I had hoped for. But I was able to correct it by using white wash on it to make it appear lighter. It works fine for holding my sugar packets.
