I used these after we had granite installed and my bathroom sink faucet couldn't be attached to the supply because the granite was thicker than the previous counter top. This was a great product to use and was simple to use!

This product saved me from having to returning the faucet I had already purchase and semi-installed. However I still needed to purchase a of PVC to place over the extension in order toSecure it to the base of my granite countertop. This “part†should be part of the kit.

The plumber informed me I needed to buy two new faucet sets for our new construction...surely I'm not the only one who purchased 3cm granite for the bath and laundry instead of 2cm! So with the miracle of the internet, I found thus product. Ordered it Friday afternoon, paid for 1 day shipping, received it Monday before noon, and the plumber said, I've never seen these, we just always tell people to buy a faucet with the hoses running inside the central tube to fix this! Who wants to waste their hours of shopping for the perfect faucet because a plumber can't research solutions? Buy these, they fix the problem and seem to be a universal part. I used them on two different brands of faucets. Very happy.....3 months later and not a seconds trouble.

I was unable to prevent leaking when using this product. I even replaced the seals included and this slowed the leak, but I still ended up with a slow drip no matter how much I tightened these to the faucet shank.

I bought a house that was one year old, and someone had installed plastic shank extensions instead of brass ones on just two faucets in my house. Within 3 years, one of the plastic extensions suddenly cracked and did $40,000 worth of flood damage in an afternoon. Two years after that (and a year after paying a plumber to make sure they were out of my house and replaced on the other faucet), the other plastic shank extension cracked but luckily it was a smaller leak and we caught it early.If the plumbers had used these, I never would have had a problem.My only complaint is that they come with just two gaskets for two extensions (no spares), and my gaskets weren’t completely round. One of the gaskets ended up getting bound into the threads when installing, and was pretty torn up. So they didn’t seat properly and now I’m having to hunt for replacement gaskets.
