The good: The motor is replacing a twenty year old motor of the same type, so I was pretty amazed to find it. I have a Diamondback Stormchaser steam carpet cleaner and it has two motors in in. Both had broken fans (plastic) and I thought it was time to switch out one of the motors. The replacement came and I installed it, but the pressure required to bolt it to the underside of the holding tank is pretty immense and apparently I made one too many turns of the bolt trying to make sure I had an adequate seal. The eyelets for the bolts are made of plastic and one of them snapped right off. It won't sit correctly with two and there is no fixing it, so I have a $110 paper weight now. On the plus side, I needed a fan cover for the second motor, so I removed that and attached it to the second one, so there is your additional star.

Ordered a replacement motor from somewhere else and had to return. Then I found this price on Amazon for a well known made in Mexico not China replacement. All the power you need less money, and fast shipping.
