His product did fit my car.It worked for audio in my 2012, for a while.I commute for work and travel all around my area for pleasure as well, so The cable was used all the time.I expected the cable to likely fail where the cable goes into the slightly larger reinforced portion with the iPhone connector at the end.This actually broke at the very end with a little iPhone connector actually breaking out out of the reinforced head of the cable.The cable failed after just about four weeks.I would not recommend this cable.However,, I did purchase A similar cable from the same provider, which, instead of the iPhone plug at the end, it was a USB plug, which I could plug my iPhone cable into.That has worked Pretty well for charging, however, it is now intermittently not charging, but merely maintaining whatever charge is in the phone.I did not have reliability or long-term use out of either of the cables.

No iPhone controls through cable from head unit in Jetta. Doesn’t charge. All it does is compress audio through the aux input. I was hoping for lossless audio or at least a trickle of a charge. Nada.

Replaced the original iPod cable on Audi concert radio. Works perfectly. Tried expensive Bluetooth adaptor that did not work. Sound quality is great. Steering wheel functions work. Excellent. Update, does not charge.

Cable didn’t connect or function at all. Trying to remove it was stuck and wouldn’t come out of receptical VW. Damaged cable trying to remove it was waste of money and almost ruined car plug.

I really like the product I only spent $18. It was easy to setup.I was gonna add the Apple CarPlay for my 2016 Audi A5 premium. But that was to 800 -1000+

This one was alright:/ the cord.. flimsy. Hardly stays in my phone. it's so loose like the manufacturers mom. Charging goes on and off. Only positive is it plays music like what
