About this item

  • [5CCT Recessed Light] Choose from a range of 5 color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K). No need to worry about making the wrong choice; this feature eliminates the need for returns or exchanges due to inappropriate color temperature.
  • [Easy Install] The low-profile recessed lighting is suitable for retrofit and new installations: Cut a hole in the ceiling with the provided 1:1 hole template; connect the junction box to the cable; use the spring clip to fix it in place on the ceiling. Hassle-free, the installation can be completed in minutes.
  • [High Brightness] The recessed light features leading LED chips, delivering higher lumens with lower power consumption. With 1050LM using only 12 Watts, it matches a 110W halogen lamp, resulting in energy savings of up to 88%.
  • [Reliable Certification] This recessed lighting is IC rated and ETL certified, allowing it to be in contact with insulation in ceilings. This means that the junction box is thermally protected, preventing the risk of fire in the roof or overhead joist space.
  • [Amico Benefits] The 6-inch LED recessed light is backed by a 5-year assurance, and our 24/7 online service team is dedicated to providing satisfactory solutions for your peace of mind

there is an alternative to this product that looks extremely similar, except it has custom RGBW colors, which control I personally love. That being said, those lights are controlled via wifi and aren't 100% reliable. As ideal as it would be to have lights wake me up with a 2700k color at minimum brightness, then adjust to 5000k at maximum brightness at high noon, and then back down to warmer darker tones for sunset, that reality won't be for what I'm guessing is another 10 years, smart products need to have their kinks worked out, I can't afford random firmware updates on my main lighting.the price on these products is the absolute best. the color control, while not remote, is an important feature. they're extremely bright and every single one worked out of the box. running on 2,000 hours of use each, none of them has as much as flickered. These work extremely well with smart dimmer switches. installation is an absolute breeze, although I highly recommend either a good hole-cutter tool, or drywall cutout tool if you're note replacing lights that also occupied a 6.5" diameter cavity.due to their thin profile, I was able to install these without ever using a stud-finder. if there was a waterpipe, stud, beam, or anything running where I wanted the light, the light could go there anyways. the small tabs that hold it in place are reliable and easy to use around obstacles.

My electrician turned me on to these. What a great body compared to what you find at Home Depot and other big box stores. These are very slim and nicely designed. The box is tiny! Easy install too. Great price. What's not to like.

Ordered a pack of 20 for basement remodeling project. Lights were received well packaged with zero damage. The light controllers are very easy to install and come with easy push-on power connectors. The lights are also very easy to install even directly under a joist with 1/2" drywall because they are so thin. They have a spring clamp that allows installation to ceiling drywall without the need for tools. They work very well with the dimmer switch and these 6" lights put out a very respectable amount of light that allow changing the temp between multiple hughes. Much later in the project I found that one of the controllers was bad. The light flickered when I plugged it in. I contacted the supplier and they quickly responded with a new light plus controller assembly. Couldn't be happier.

I bought lights of a similar design from a major home improvement retail chain - I spent over $300 on 14 lights (which were the cheapest option there). After reading the reviews on these, I bought a 20 pack for less than half that cost and returned the others to the store. They are easy to install, are made well, and work great! i've got them set on 3000k, and the hue is great! My only complains are that the connector between the power box and the light itself lines up using a very subtle flat edge inside the connector housing (it can be difficult to get it to line up and connect quickly) and that when using them on a dimmer, the hue of the lights changes (loses warmth and gets a little weird) when dimmed to around 30% or below. That said I'm still incredibly happy with them - the light 'discs' are lightweight enough to be mounted in my drop ceiling.

I have personally installed 24 of these in my home across the living room and 3 bedrooms. I work with many contractors and DYI home professionals and we order these LED lights from Amico for several remodel projects. I can tell you these are a great value and work extremely well. No complaints from any of the contractors and home professionals that have installed these. The manufacturer sells these in sets of 6, 12, 16, 20, or 24. At the time of this review, the 20-pack was the least expensive per light (around $6 each). The light is extremely thin which makes it easy to install. Thicker lights can conflict with existing wooden beams that are in the ceiling. These are just the size of your drywall and have a nice fit. The tabs on sides allow you snugly keep it flush with the ceiling. You can use a screwdriver to easily remove the light. The color selector is great well. Being able to alternate colors depending on the furniture in the room and use of the room gives you flexibility. The rooms are so much brighter with these lights.I was not paid for this review and overall, I would highly recommend this product!

These are super easy to install. Very slick and clean design. The junction box is a little small but really good lights for the price.

We are building a house that requires around 200 can lights for both the inside and outside of the house. These were perfect for our budget and our home. The house is using 3/4 x 4" knotty pine for the walls and ceiling and we were afraid these wouldn't fit. I'm very glad to say that they fit and are holding in place as they should; however, I wouldn't want to put them in anything thicker than 3/4".The different temperature colors have enough variance that most (if not all folks) should be able to find a good fit for their needs. We have about 1/2 (~100) of these on 2 & 3-way dimmers and so far they are working very well.I had checked with a local electric wholesaler for lights just like these but they were close to $20 each. For 200 that would be almost $4,000 buying these through A* warehouse 10 boxes ran right at $700.We are very pleased and should these not last the expected 10 years (50K hours) I will update this review. For now though, I will highly recommend these units.
