Bought this to protect the tailgate on my new Tundra. Installs easily and kept a large order of lumber from scratching any paint. I am still able to use all of my cameras with it on the truck.

This fit nice and snug on my GMC Canyon tailgate. The only problem was the length of the straps on top to hold the bikes. They won't work on a large frame bike, only small tubular. I used the two extra long straps they sent with no apparent instructions to extend two of them.

Easy easy to transport bikes without having to mess with a bike carrier. I like the protection it affords my tailgate while allowing you to secure your bike to it. The opening for the tailgate handle and camera is a nice feature as well. Seems well constructed. It's been a little too cold to go biking but looking forward to using this a lot once the weather warms up.

Works good and provides adequate coverage on my C1500 tailgate. Hole for the tailgate handle doesn't line up exactly but that's something I am willing to overlook for the price. Hook and loop fasteners work well to prevent the bikes from sliding around.

Not padded very well and Velcro straps too short for modern mountain bikes

This tailgate pad worked as advertised. It was easy to install with the straps that wrap around the tailgate and it has Velcro loops to secure the bikes and keep them from moving around. The material is thick enough to protect the paint on your tailgate. People might ask, why buy this, why not just throw your bikes in the back of the truck? Because most 29†wheeled mountain bikes these days are longer than mid-size truck beds and if you just stack the bikes in the back you’re guaranteed to break the derailleurs or other components on the bikes. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up to make your life a little easier when heading out to the trails.
