My son needed a Steno book for school this year and after not finding one at four local stores, I bought this one. Perfect, great price. Sturdy enough cover that you don't really need a table to write on.

A great basic steno but if possible buy in person. I've had them shipped with the cover starting to rip off bc of shipping process.

The pads are not sturdy enough for my use but to get a dozen pads for such a low price… I thought I was buying one pad and was amazed to receive twelve pads. I have found other uses for them so it’s not a total loss.

Grateful that these tablets are still available now days. Description made me think that I would receive two tablets for the price. Only received one and that was fine. Received in the usual two days.

Both front and back covers thinner than expected, not the stiff cardboard I remember from years ago. Otherwise as advertised.

Typical high quality, traditional Ampad steno book. Front and rear covers are stiff cardboard. There are only 60 pages which makes it easier for me to handle but you might want one with more pages. The most important issue for me is the high quality paper finish. When I write on this pad with my ink pens the ink does not run on the writing side and does not bleed through to the back side. Many of the less expensive pads use recycled paper and the bleed through becomes a real issue for me.This is one of my favorite steno pads.
I love to shop 💜

This is the lowest end of Ampad (which is a Tops brand). The covers are flimsy and the paper is way way too thin. Because of those things, shipping it on in an envelope like Amazon did, bent up and ruined the pad. Even at only $3.98 I'm sending this back for a refund. I'm a bit of a paper snob but this was really really low quality.

I like that I could purchase these tablets individually and still get a decent price. To get a fair price I generally need to purchase them by the dozen. Locally they are too pricey so the price was much better on Amazon.
