This dust cover completely & properly covers the boom stand microscope and will protect it from dust and droppings from critters crawling around in my workshop!

The cover was brand new, neatly folded in the package, but oily (soapy?) inside and out. Sure, it'll keep dust off my microscope, but it'll instead make the instrument oily -- seems like a losing exchange. I even tried returning the cover and getting a replacement -- the replacement had the same issue as the first (also oily). Yuck.

When I ordered this item I didn't realize that a dust cover would be included with the scope. That turned out OK, because this one is so much better than the one that was included (which actually didn't fit). This item covers a beam-mounted scope without having to reposition anything and frankly "feels" much better. This one is opaque white instead of the to-me-less-attractive laboratory green.

This does what it claims: it fully covers the boom stand microscope. It is made of heavy vinyl (?). The plastic itself is clear but has a pebble texture making the overall effect translucent.The improvement I would suggest is to make it from anti-static plastic.

This dust cover is a bit large for my need, but does the job. It seems well-made. I've been using it for several months and it is holding up well.

$20 for a piece of plastic you don't need. The AmScopes ship with a fitted cover, although they don't tell you.

I chose this to fit the telescope, and that it did, bit so could a large plastic bag. This isn't even this thick a plastic so am wishing I had made one myself out of fabric,

Someone else already said it: the seam on this dust cover splits at the least provocation. I repair it with packaging tape, and it works, but I really expected it to have better seams. OTOH, it keeps my boom microscope covered.

Fits the stand and microscope perfectly. The material is flexible and sturdy and comes all the way to the base with a couple inches extra to spare. Covers what it needs to and doesnt take up extra space with excess material. Very happy with it.
