If you own a Alexapure water filtration then you diffidently need one of these. All stainless steel and glass. Great quality product. Highly recommend! Helps you to know how much water is in your bottom container. It’s a must have hands down. What I especially like is it’s all stainless, no plastic. Should last for years…..

This is a decent piece of hardware - 5 stars if the stainless around the sight glass wasn't almost sharp enough to cut you.Stainless, not plastic - sturdy - and without any instructions.To clean it, you need to disassemble the sight glass part - not obvious at first.So - before using it, you want to unscrew the stainless sight glass at the BOTTOM - next to the valve stem, and also the round part on the top. Careful of the glass, it is fragile!I put a piece of electrical tape on that top nut, so it wouldn't scratch when I used a small channel lock on it.After it's all unscrewed, wash it thoroughly, decide if you want/need the red floating ball, and cap the top of the sight glass first - then screw the whole thing into the stem part - all the while taking care to get it snug but not destructively too tight - the silicone washers in top and bottom are what makes it water proof, snug enough is good, too snug cuts them or breaks the glass...Also, the cup part between the sight glass and the stem has an O-ring seal where it screws the stem, it too doesn't need to be deadly tight, but snug enough not to leak.It all sounds more complex than it is, but if you follow this whole thing before putting it into use, you'll have great success.Oh - and once installed, fill the lower part of the filter about a quarter full at first, to look for leaks.Good luck - and enjoy!

I got two of these. One for a 2 1/2 gallon Alexa Pure and one for when I get a bigger system. It makes it a lot easier to gauge your refilling. I had a minute for learning curve because I've never used anything like this but it works amazing!

The product is good but it’s rusting in the water. I’d consider a replacement if this one is just faulty. But be cautious, check on yours just in case
