Lots of colors and options here. I'm at the "let's ruin a lot of material" stage of learning the ins and outs of laser cutters. This isn't fine leather, but you'll get a lot of little projects out of this and it's really good value for the money.Tiny down side, it stinks. You'll have to let a project air out for a day or two before showing it to anyone. But it stinks less than laser cut leather, so I have to air things out anyway. (For those who haven't done it, laser cutting leather is essentially incinerating a cow and giving the remains as a gift. Two days minimum to air out.)

I will be paying for again great for my leather schemes. As some of the reviews said it does have an odor slightly. I just keep it airtight and wipe it down with some light vinegar blend. Doesn’t bother me nonetheless.

I took a risk in ordering these and the reviews were right, they are absolutely stinky! I don't know where this seller stores these pieces but they smell nasty. I have been trying to air them out and it made my whole house STINK!!! I am not exaggerating, I could smell them from the other side of the house. I could not air them outside since we are in the middle of winter. I am lighting scented candles to alleviate some of the smell. Some of the pieces after being aired out for a few days now smell like leather but most of the other pieces have a moldy, musty odor and that is not coming out. If the smell persists after a week, these will have to go back. Can't use some of them because the back of them are discolored, have glue residue, permanent marker markings, for I wanted to make jewelry out of these. Only good thing was they did come in an assortment of colors but that's it.

I was worried at first when the box I received was 8"x8" thinking that I received a bunch of small offcuts. When I pulled the material out of the box I found out the pieces were just folded in half. There's a wide range of colors, finishes, and thicknesses in the box. There does seem to be what looks like chemical splashes/smears on the back of a couple, but nothing on the front and no harsh chemical smell some people are describing, only the smell of leather. I have no need for the majority of these pieces other than testing them out on my new co2 laser and get material options/ideas for future projects. There really are no two pieces alike so if that's what you're looking for definitely check it out.

Worried about purchasing after reading other reviews, but I had no issues with foul oders. Just smells like leather.

I love the colors, softness of leather and size. Only issue, and it’s severe, is the incredibly bad smell…some sort of mix between chemicals and smoke. It stunk up every room I had them in to the point that I had to bring them to the cellar for storage before returning them.

Nicely surprised by this product. Great leather pieces with good earthy colors that go together and of similar weights.Recommend for sure

I had to throw out several pieces with visible mildew on the suede side. Am going to try taking leather honey to the rest but I got an almost instant migraine.The smell permeated the shipping box and I could smell it as soon as I opened my front door.Decent variety of colors, looking forward to crafting with them if I can get rid of the stench.
