This made-up stainless steel wire leader is exactly what's needed for toothy or twisting fighting fish in any waters. I'm finding the total length to be 13 5/8 inches with a one inch safety type clip on one end and a 7/8 inch, silky-smooth ball type swivel on the other. The twist on the clip end measures 1/2 inch while the ball end twist is 5/8 inch. As best I can see, the twists are done with actual, proper marine splices! The wire diameter with my calipers looks like 0.025". I love these 30 complete, ready to use leaders!

Ordered these going into the winter time so havent had na chance to try them out.Just looking them over and comparing them to others Ive purchased, they are just as good as the others.The price isnt relly exceptional but it isnt bad either.

We have been losing lures to Pike at our local lake so I grabbed these to use when we fish there. The convenience of a snap swivel will also be appreciated when I’m switching lures. Upon visual inspection, these leaders seem well made and I fully expect them to take any abuse coming their way. Very happy with them!

I’m sure I will find a different use for them however the swivels will not hold up to a flathead catfish.

I ordered the 9.8in-40lb test to attach to popping corks to fish in the bay as well as to use for bottom fishing in the surf with live bait. The swivel moves freely to prevent tangling. The medium sized clasp is a good all around size and closes tightly, which I prefer so it doesn’t come loose. The 40lb wire leader is strong and will prevent sharp toothed fish from biting through my line. These are a staple in my tackle box and at approximately .35 cents each they’re a great deal, so I stocked up on them.
