Operation: Battery,hydraulic,ratchet or manual drivers, when used with ratchet, hydraulic or battery drivers,buy the punch and die only,the draw stud is part of the driver kit. Warning:
1.Do not exceed the rated capacity of the tool, otherwise it will cause a component failure, which could throw broken parts with great force. Failure to observe can result in injury or death.
2.Do not allow anyone to stand in front of the punch or behind the hydraulic ram.

1.When hole is completed the punch unit (Punch, die and draw stud) can fall free toward the die sized.
Make sure you have from footing the balance when operating position yourself to avoid
injuries in case of slippage, breakage, or any other loss of control while punching.

It is easy to use and does a good job. I used it 4 times and consistently I don’t get completely clean knockouts with the 1 1/2â€cutter. there is always a small section that needs to be broken off and filed. I tried the 2†cutter and it cut cleanly. So I probably should have returned or exchanged but still happy to get mostly clean knockouts in sheet metal. I used this to add 2†drops for gutter downspouts and it gave me a nice tight fit. Tip: the cutter leaves a small lip where the sheep metal bends as it is cut. The lip bends in the direction of the female hollow side. So choose the direction of your cut accordingly. In my case for gutter downspouts I wanted the sharp lip facing down/outside the gutter.

Nice knock out set have used it quite a few times seems quite durable. The ratchet wrench is quite nice to have in the kit. Perfect for the new guys that the ones in the green boxes are just way out of their price range for getting started as well. Got these for a job that is ongoing, and we could leave on the site.

I used it on an electrical box and it worked well with a little resistance right before it knocked the hole out.

for an inexpensive punch it has worked well. It Punches the same as all of the other ones we have on our trucks just a bit less expensive.

I purchased this to punch a hole in the side of a new pole shed for 2" conduit electrical service. I figured I'd buy the kit and add it to my tool collection. Glad I did.I used a standard step drill bit to drill the pilot hole, assembled both sides, and used the gear wrench provided to tighten and punch the hole. Perfect. No rough edges or deformed metal around the hole. The conduit slipped right through. The tool itself had no wear for the worse after use.I'll be using this again and again as I install lighting and other accessories.

I use this for making holes in circuit breaker panels, and so far I haven't had any problems doing so.Well made cutters.
