Who says blue has to be a sad color? When I think of blue I think of the ocean, the sky, and sapphires. Update your wardrobe with a bit of extra bling like one of these chain alloy brooch pins. The shield and crown symbols with the gold metal really makes this a stand out piece! Any guy would love to add something like this to their suit for a special event. Would make a nice gift idea! ;)

The KINGPiiN lapel pins and brooches are of differing quality in their fabrication and of differing success/failure in their design. Generalizations aren’t all that easy to make, and some of one’s assessments are bound to be as much (if not more) reflections of one’s own tolerance for the quality of inexpensive costume jewelry and one’s own aesthetic.That said: here are some generalizations: *Generally, pins that have the lapel stick-through design are of better quality all the way around than the larger brooches (and two-part lapel pins and brooches) that have standard safety-pin like closures. These pins are flimsy and sometimes very poorly attached. I’d recommend swapping them out for a larger safety pin that you superglue to the body of the pin. *Generally, the silver-tone pins and brooches are better looking than the gold-tone ones, and much better looking than the black-tone ones. *Generally, pins/brooches that have fewer chains look better than ones that have more. Pins/brooches with black chains are not a good choice. The black chains are especially flimsy and cheap-looking. *Generally, the pins/brooches with nautical designs are better made and better looking than the ones that have (pseudo-) military designs and insignias.This is one of the less successful two-part pins, I think. The two parts are very thin, and not artfully stamped out. The addition of the chain adds to an overall flimsy appearance. I separated the two parts of the pin and tossed the chain, which helped.

Nice shade of blue. The pin looks good. The finish is almost perfect. The chains came without being tangled.

I love that both brooches match. I hope they offer more like these. It’s cool to have a diamond or whatever on one end, but it’s also nice to see a smaller/larger set like this. Either I’m getting used to these chains or this one is actually slightly better.I also have the “red†version of this. In person the red appears golden brown which I like a lot actually. It does tend to change color depending on what it’s reflected against. The chain is a perfect color match to the trim of the shields.

This pin is very well made and looks great on a lapel or suit jacket. It is a great conversation starter. The tween puts these on her school lanyard and wears it to school everyday. These pins hold up well and she gets a lot of compliments from middle schoolers - go figure. But, they really are fun pins!

I don't know why I like collecting these sorts of things, but they make for good conversation pieces.I will be using this one actually as a combination brooch as well as possibly a tie clip. I think it would work well for that and add a unique flair to an outfit.

Nice pin without the bling, simple with a little color. The chain is pretty and can take a little pull. I have the blue color and it looks great on dark color suits.
