I initially purchased this batter bowl because it was on sale. I made a great decision because I have ended using the bowl in my kitchen a lot. It is very sturdy and easy to clean. I would not say it is lightweight because it is made of glass but it is not to terribly heavy either. I have used it in the microwave and cleaned it in the dishwasher as well. The measuring scores on the side are very helpful. The only thing I am bummed about is I did not get the lid. I would recommend the bowl and buy the lid. Its a great addition to any kitchen.

I love this batter bowl! It is a great size for multiple baking and cooking tasks. It is made of heavy-duty thick glass which makes it a good solid bowl. The pour spout helps streamline kitchen tasks because I can pour as opposed to spooning/scooping out of the bowl. For me it was a great investment.

I needed a new mixing bowl with a pour lip. I decided this would hold up well and be perfect. There was one thing I failed to factor in…the weight. As I unfortunately age, I find this mixing bowl is quite heavy. I worry because our kitchen flooring is concrete and anything glass will shatter. Otherwise this would ear five stars easily. It is easy to use and clean up, no complaints.

Bought this for my mum as a gift as her very old plastic tupperware mixing jug has seen better days, the markings have worn off and she loves glass products. It's a very sturdy bowl, pours nicely and the numbers are imprinted into the glass (metric on one side and imperial on the other) so no risk of them wearing off like her old bowl. It arrived the next day and we used it for a cake. Very good product, I would definitely recommend.
