I’ve used other models before that took longer to reach the desired temperature, but this one had no problem getting up to heat quickly, which is really important when you’re trying to cook multiple things in a time-sensitive manner. The pump design is also worth mentioning. It circulates water efficiently, ensuring that the heat is evenly distributed, so you don’t have to worry about hot or cold spots in your food. For me, this made a big difference, as I noticed my steaks, chicken, and even fish cooked more evenly than when I used other immersion circulators. It's very easy to use, controls are intuitive, display is very easy to read. Have used for 30 hours steak with no issues on runtime or keeping the temperature. It circulates the water very well and heats up even to higher temps remarkably fast.It does have a larger than average footprint but is still useable in a 12qt CamSquare with room to fit 4 big bags with good circulation room around them. Had to do a custom lid cut out since there is nothing already out there this shape that I could see but with the lid on, you can run it many many hours and the waterline barely budges in my super low humidity area. I am pretty new to sous vide but I wanted something durable and so far this seems like it has great build quality, I will update if it fails unreasonable early. For this pricing I expect it to last a couple years at least.

I ordered this sous vide precision cooker to replace a smaller, stick-type sous vide cooker that clips onto the edge of a pot or tank.This sous vide precision cooker is much more robust, stable, and durable than almost all the others I see on the market, and at 1400 watts, is more powerful than most others, too.One of the things I like most about this circulator is that it sits stable on the counter and clamps onto your pot or tank to create a very stable cooking unit that won't fall over or slip out of place like the stick type can.My stock pot is in use, so I used a stainless steel bucket to test out this new circulator/cooker.The whole unit is very simple to use and performs very well. There aren't a lot of frills. You just set the temperature you want it to reach and press the start button. When it reaches that temperature, it will beep to let you know it's ready to add your vacuum sealed package. If you want to set a cooking time, it will beep at you again when that cooking time has elapsed. You need to turn it off by pressing the start/stop button.The temperature was accurate when compared to my instant-read probe thermometer. Both the cooker and my probe thermometer showed 125 degrees Fahrenheit at 12 minutes after starting the cooker. The water started at 60 degrees Fahrenheit.The water circulator moves more water faster than my smaller stick-type circulator, too. In the photos you can see the waves created by the circulation.One other feature I like is that the cover can be easily removed by unscrewing two thumb screws that allows the bottom steel cage to slide off to enable cleaning of the circulator and heating element.I like the overall design and durability of this unit, but it is lacking some features that may be important to some folks.1. It does not work with a phone app to monitor or control it. It is strictly manually controlled at the unit.2. It does not shut off automatically after the cook time elapses. It only beeps to let you know it's done.3. It is more expensive than many units on the market, but it also feels much more durable than others.Overall, I really like this unit for its simplicity, durability, and stable design, including the way it connects so easily to almost any type of stock pot or even a bucket to create a stable cooker. An app to control the cooker would be nice, but once you set the cook temp, there really isn't anything to adjust. But it would be nice to shut it off remotely when the cook time is done. If you can live without an app, and don't mind the price tag, this is a great quality cooker/circulator that will handle your sous vide needs with aplomb.
