Bought this for my 2024 JayFeather 23RK (7000lbs). I had to purchase a separate chain extension kit because of accessory installation on my A-frame. Installation was easy and the kit is American-made quality! Works exactly as I had hoped. No bounce, no sway and no diving board sensation.

Easy to follow installation instructions. I have pulled my camper 12k miles with no issues.

This made a huge improvement on towing my trailer. I was skeptical with the mixed reviews and just how different vs the competition. I tow a 32’ enclosed race trailer with golf cart and race car. I had troubles going much over 60mph without getting too much away and when semi’s or any large vehicle would pass I would get sucked in and spit out. After installing this Andersen sway bar system I can easily travel a comfortable 70mph and the sway from passing or getting passed is almost been completely eliminated. The truck still sags low in the rear but the trailer is level and pulls fantastic

We have a Grand Design Imagine 2800BH travel trailer. Weighs approx 7000lbs when traveling with gear. We towed it from the dealer with a Ford F250 with no weight distribution hitch and a bunch of weight in the bed of the truck. Though the truck could handle it and the trailer didn't really sway, the front of the truck felt a bit 'floaty'. It felt like the steering wheel was constantly shifting back and forth and not tracking straight. I felt really tense like I was constantly fighting the truck and needing to make little adjustments. Now that we plan on traveling with the trailer more often, we've installed an Anderson Weight Distribution Hitch. That hitch behind our new Ram 2500 makes towing a breeze. Without the weight distribution hitch, the truck squats about 2"-2 1/2" in the rear under the weight of the trailer. With the WDH, the truck only squats maybe 1/2" in the back. The front end of the truck feels planted and solid, like I'm in total control. Even with hands off the steering wheel, the truck tracks straight. Didn't notice any sway. And you can really tell the weight distribution hitch is doing it's job. Fairly easy to install, just make sure you have all of the appropriate tools listed in the instruction manual. Well worth the cost and would not hesitate to buy again.

I wanted to take the time to actually use this before reviewing. The initial setup takes a little time because you need to set it up, use it, naked adjustments and finger time the setup.Once it is setup it is a breeze and works as it should. The hitch is also much lighter than competing systems.I now have a few thousand miles on this hitch driving in some pretty bad weather and I am very satisfied with the easy it works. It leveled my time out nicely and pretty much eliminated sway.I am pulling a 30' Layton toy hauler with a full dress Harley in the back and all our stuff to live for 6 months and this hitch does all I need.Update.Now that I have around 5000 miles on this hitch in some pretty nasty weather I can honestly say it works very well and is super easy to store when not in use.Love this hitch.

I used this hitch for a year or so. It is easy to install and use. Lightweight. Easy to handle. Quiet (if ball is greased). Seemed to provide satisfactory sway control in my setup. I think it is best for smaller trailers, say, under 4000#-5000#...especially if towed by SUVS with their relatively soft rear suspensions because its weight distribution characteristics seemed limited compared to spring bar types. I also recommend adding a thru-bolt to the center of the frame brackets otherwise, the brackets tend to move under the enormous strain the tension chains can exert. Or apply a weld bead on the bracket side facing TOWARDS the hitch ball- NOT the opposite! When I removed these brackets, I noticed that their bolts had deformed the trailer's box frame on top and bottom due to the tremendous twisting force they had exerted on the frame. Welding the brackets might mitigate that. I also recommend greasing the ball and also the top of the triangle plate ring, lest these parts wear and squeal. I was always concerned about the tremendous load that was being applied inside the rear of the trailer's coupler by the chain tension, underscored by the rapid progress of wear patterns on the hitch ball itself.Inspect it after every trip.Great customer service. They replaced faulty parts instantly with no argument.

The old one is too heavy and complex every time to set up, this one is much easier and yes, lighter.Even it a refurbished one, it come with new design and works well.
