Andis is a professional grade brand. I own both the ceramic and Ultra Edge blades. Ultra Edge is made of stainless steal. I have noticed the ceramic gets less hot, but both cut well and last long. You can buy replacement blades for each. I purchased Ultra Edge this time around because they are much cheaper than ceramic. In the picture attached you will see the white blade is ceramic and the metal blade is Ultra Edge. The second picture shows the blade right after I oiled it. It is oil you see, not scratches. Be sure to oil these regularly to hell then last. I want to I note that we use our clippers for foster dogs so we use this much more frequently than the average person.

Don't buy knock off clipper blades. We have groomed dogs for 40 years. Andis is the best, stays sharp and lasts longest.

I purchased the UltraEdge clipper blades in conjunction with a new pet shaver/groomer and am very pleased with the results. All of the clipper blades worked very well and are sharp enough to cut through some tough matts. My only concern is that they do get hot after about 30-45 minutes. I will probably be purchasing duplicate blades in the same sizes so that I can continue to groom my pets without having to wait for the blades to cool.

I have 3 cockers & bought this to use w/ my Andis pro to get a closer shave on the face, head & ears. I also used for their backside for the traditional cut. These are nice blades & get the job done, so I can extend time in between cuts. Andis is great! Recommend it!

The item does not work and has clearly been used and resold. Not cleaned properly now blade does not move. There is hair visible on the blades. Unable to return? Very disappointed.
