I’ve seen reviews saying they got their blades with fur/hair stuck on them while they are buying it as “new†but, mines came out clean and new with hard to open packaging. They work great and cuts my dogs hair clean with not tugs or hair getting stuck in between the blades. The only down fall is the “teeth†of the blades tend to break off easily if dropped. This has happened to me a few times. * my review is based off a #30 blade*

I love my andis grooming tool for my dogs. I have a Bicion/shitzu mix who has a very thick coat and these bladed cut through like butter. I love them. They also last a long time. This is a reorder for me, after 2 years its time for a replacement as I dont have someone near by to take to have them sharpened. They are cheap enough that replacements are almost the same cost as the sharpening anyway. I always recommend andis to anyone who asks what clippers I use on my dogs.âœâœâœâœâœ - I love this product. it meets or exceeds my expectations and is great quality. I have gone through 3 of these blades now and they break within a couple months of owning them. Keep in mind I have one dog that I groom who is my own dog (I no longer work in grooming salons) and I am very very very careful to make sure my equipment never gets dropped. Honestly I have no idea how these blades break so fast I’ve never had this issue with any other brand.

Purchased the blade at a reduced price cos the packaging was squished, blade was perfect tho.. Happy to save a couple of quid for that!! Andis blades are great and stay sharp for ages, have tried out a couple of unbranded blades and they are totally not worth it. The #30 blade is perfect for use with comb attachments or clearing feet. Don't buy this to use on your pet without a comb as they will be virtually bald :)
