Looks like a DeWalt, I thought i was buying a DeWalt but very surprised to see it was not a DeWalt. But for the money it works pretty well. They advertise DeWalt battery, makes you believe it is a DeWalt.

I'm just a homeowner who needs a cordless angle grinder a few times a year. If I need a really heavy grinding task, I'll take it to the shop where I work and let the professionals handle on it. I can confirm this one works well for light duty tasks like sharpening a lawnmower blade or a drill bit. I can confirm that the tool works seamlessly with DeWalt batteries.

This angle grinder is awesome. It is really powerful for the size and works perfectly with all my Dewalt batteries. It is easy to take off used discs and add new ones. I really like the buttons that change the power/speed and show you exactly what setting you are on.

I love that this tool works with the DeWalt 20V battery system since I have many of them. However, the battery and charger are a bit questionable. There is no Amp rating on the included battery and it will not charge in official DeWalt chargers (it always shows charged regardless of the battery state). The included charger works, but I would not trust it to charge my actual DeWalt batteries. I know some versions of this do not come with batteries, and that might be for the best. It is larger than the official 5A battery, but weighs about 20% less. So, probably not filled with cells and they use the same shell for different capacities.I like that the grinding shield is movable and the grip can be placed on either side. Nice touch putting the arbor wrench in the handle. It is a light tool, so it may not be great for a bladesmith's shop where grinding is a significant portion of the day, but for weekend warriors - a good entry-level tool.

It's a solid machine. No lightweight... Not as fast or as powerful as the corded variety, but it fulfills its purpose.Battery operated, fits my needs. Speed control is a good feature. Low speed has very little torque and the grinder is easy to manipulate. It could safely be mounted in a vise and used as a stationary grinder, to sharpen things. It has 6 speeds. I used a tachometer to see what's happening. Diamond cutoff wheel. No-load.Lowest (green light) speed is 3000 RPM. Then 4,000 and then 5? This is weird. Then the red light-speeds... 6, 7 and top speed is 8,000 RPM. On the money. I wonder how they do that. The tachometer is an old optical thing, but it's solid.Everything looks standard. It should fit all your wheels and other accessories, whatever those may be. Sometimes the overseas "metric" factory doesn't get "inches" exactly right. A 1/4" collet is not 6mm. But generally there's no difference.I 3D printed a small handle that can be put in a vise, to hold the grinder. Works good. The M8 bolt is what they used on the factory handle. I have no qualms about using it this way. The battery makes it heavy on the end, so some extra support out there is wise. But for small work held in your hand, this mount is helpful.

I received this tool through the Amazon Vine program in order to review it. It is a functional tool for occasional use when you don't have access to a 120V electrical source. I wouldn't recommend it for any professional or heavy duty use. It isn't as powerful as the corded brand name angle grinders I own. It functions well but there is a safety concern: about one time in ten the switch doesn't disconnect immediately when I remove my finger. It keeps running, sometimes for a second or two, sometimes longer. It is obvious so I never set it down without jiggling the switch to turn it off. I would have rated the tool higher than 2 stars but for the switch problem.
