The first installed unit Didn’t work as expected, but the second unit worked well. I still have 2 units left for use if needed. Overall, still a better value than the brand new, looks new, and cost far less than the local hardware store.

I tested each of the 4 I received today becasue of some negative reviews. All passed my tests:1. The tamper resistance feature of each slot was tested with a small, flat bladed screw driver. In all cases it worked as intended.2. Mis-wiring, i.e. swapping neutral and the hot, was tested and worked as described in the instructions.3. Each recepticle was tested using the test button, all tripped.4. Each was tested with an external tester, all tripped.5. The pull out resistance of the wire clamps were tested, all were secure (a few reviews stated that these would not be used by an electrician. This isn't the case, these clamps are standard on wiring devices including switches and receptacles including "specification grade" for commercial use.)6. Some reviewers stated that the recepicles were of poor quality -- they seem similiar to the one I replaced that had had, after 22 years in an occasionally damp crawl space under a house on the Oregon Coast.We'll see how the one I installed does in the coming years and I'll amend this review if necessary but at this point I'm very satisfied with the product and price.

Went right in as a replacement but did not work right away. Looked at the instructions and noticed all the pictures were ground prong up. I checked the labels and found that the line and load were opposite of my previous one. Easy fix. Works fine.

Three worked well. One did not. It was the first one I tried and for the life of me, I was convinced that I had an electrical problem and needed to call an electrician.To make sure that it was broken, I replaced a second working gfci with that one, and it didn’t work at that location either.
