I made rings out of these. Cheaper than already produced rings.

Copper then partially nickel plated a little duck figure to test and play around with electroplating. After lightly polishing, first time ever electroplating, it came out pretty good. Still have much to learn

The attached picture is before and after electroplating onto steel, using 30% acetic acid to start the solution. Worked better than I had expected

These are perfect for getting my feet wet in electroplating process in my garage. I only plan on doing small projects, I’m looking foward to the experience

Good price. Used the nickel strips for electroplating. Finish came out nice.

This definitely isn't 99.6% pure nickel.I've had it soaking in solution hooked up to power for a few hours now, and it hasn't reacted one bit. The solution has a very very slight green tinge to it, and the anode is very magnetic, so I assume this is some sort of tin or steel, with a thin coat of nickel plating.I certainly hope this isn't a case of false advertising, and the supplier just isn't aware. After reading other customer reviews, I find that hard to believe though..Update to my previous review:I tried again with the copper anode this time, and it is just barely working. It reacts and bubbles for the first few minutes, but quickly develops a brown sludge on top of the cathode, and barely reacts. I have to wipe the sludge off every few minutes to get it to react. It has been in solution for 3 hours now, and the water is a very VERY slight shade of blue.I tried this with some copper piping in the same setup, and it bubbles constantly until the fluid turns a nice blue color in half the time, so I assume the copper is not pure either.I wouldn't bother with this stuff. Lucky Amazon agreed to give me a refund :)
