For all the people who could not figure out how to attach the main door, just use the three clips and a pair of pliers to attach the door. It is super easy and the trap works like a charm. Nice size and sturdy. I feel it's a great product. Suggest adding instructions on how to attach the main door. I would recommend this trap!

4 stars for durability issue. Caught a medium size racoon 1st night. The racoon took the rod off that triggered the door and pushed it outside the cage. He then bent the rods holding the opposite door closed and almost pulled that door open. I had to come out and put zip ties on the door to keep it closed. Then the little bandit reached through the triggered door and pulled the spring loaded door lever/catch that keeps it closed with both his hands. I had to zip tie the lever to the cage so he couldn't pull it open and get out. That fixed the escape artist. He is 1/2 the size of another one I am going to catch tonight if he comes back. You can't transport a coon in Florida. You must release them on the contiguous property or euthanize them. I released him on the creek behind the house. I never saw an coon run so fast in my life! Have to zoom in as the pic was taken from my surveillance cam. He also worked on trying to break the trigger panel off the floor for hours. No luck on that. But the larger one is twice his size. I will update this if he is as agressive and tears up the cage any worse.

Cage was delivered damaged (part of the railing was warped out of place and several retaining clasps were loose). I threw the cage out, not worth the time, money and aggravation of trying to replace it.

When I received it the door had fallen off in transit. The directions were poor but the video helped get it together. It was not particularly strong and easily bent. First night I caught something but it got out. Had to reinforce with wire and heavy duty zip ties all around, and put cinder blocks on either side and on the top. Second night I caught a feral cat and took it to animal control. I do like the size of it and ease of use, but wish I'd just spent more for a sturdier trap.

Like my other trap, this one took some tweaking to make it secure and hopefully reliable. It's a few inches wider, higher and longer than my HF trap; an important factor in buying it. The trigger rod isn't outboard the cage like the description says and that rod needs to have the ends carefully bent a little to stay connected to the trigger plate and door catch. It could use a few securing guides as well. Keep in mind, the trigger rod, plate and catch are only important before the animal gets in the trap. The release door and securing rod for it could be of a better design. I don't like the idea of it hinging upward and needing both hands to get the latching rod released. Your fingers are only two inches from the release door when undoing the securing mechanism. I've been practicing so I can get the door unlatched and up in as few moves as possible. Securing the door is a little tedious as you have to make sure the securing U shaped rod is on both sides of the door and threaded through the floating locating tabs. Watch the video to get the idea. He makes it look easy but I found it just a little difficult. These traps take some getting used to. Not many people will set one up the first time and have everything go like a breeze. This isn't a professional trap and is not priced like one. However, it is the best price for this quality as you are going to see.
