Alas, it does not work for my 1 year old Husky. He just crouches down a barks even louder no matter what the frequency. I had to return it.

Update:nothing to change what I said below, but I am going to up it a star.Moving it far from my door, and in the back area of my yard helped a lot of the false positives. Enough that I can tell it is having an impact on one of my dogs. So technically, it is working. It is still far too sensitive. Best I can tell its not intelligently triggering on bark like frequencies, but just "noise". And there are a lot of sources of noise in a yard/house that are not dogs barking. The remote is definitely line of sight only, and I can't even get it to work through a window with line of sight. If you have a very quiet yard/neighborhood/house this could work. But there has to be a product out there with more intelligent triggering. I might try one of the collars, but I was low key hoping I could point this thing towards my neighbors yards and hush them up a bit too.Original:These are initial impressions. I have some ideas that might raise my opinion of it. I'm being pretty harsh on it from a specific use case, but it is labeled for it so I think that's fair.I first tested this indoors with some noisy dogs. It immediately shut them up. That was a great sign.Once I installed it outdoors at home though my problems started. Wind seems to set it off, a car driving down the road sets it off (quiet, rural area), opening the door to my house sets it off, me clearing my throat several feet away sets it off. My dogs ended up being completely confused by it and I turned it off before it had a chance to do any "training". Even inside I noticed if I touch it, it goes off. If I wiggle around on my couch it'll go off. The sensitivity just seems too high to be useful. I'd add a star if it had a "manual only" mode but I haven't found one yet.The remote also seems to be line of sight only, making it pretty useless (I'm going to test this further to make sure this is true).This weekend I'm going to try to relocate it far from my house doors, and strategically around a corner to try to shelter it from direct road noise and wind as much as I can and see if I can find a way to make it work for me. The concept seems to be legit because my indoor test I did when I first received it did in fact interrupt 3 dogs when they went to bark. I'm not sure if it was from discomfort/pain or just....interrupted them and confused them. So I do believe if it can do that automatically any time they bark, it will teach them. But it isn't going to teach them anything if it just seemingly, randomly (to them) goes off all the time from other unrelated noises.
