I’m curious how the Velcro will last but the material is a good quality and I love these much more than the ones we have been using with the springs on the bottom and a flat material. If there is anywhere you need this rigid material is on the way into your RV from the dusty outside. And again. Your dog won’t slip on the stairs coming in anymore.Very easy installation, cut too fit so there is plenty of material. Comfortable and plenty thick. They look great.

Applied the velcro strips and they stuck nicely to the stairs but the Gluey MESS of the strips on the carpet were the worst. They kept falling off and were lying on the floor and leaving a terrible "goo" on the floor. Came back from our trip yesterday and pulled them off - have a 2nd pack and cannot even return them as the window closed so quickly. Maybe for a reason, as they know this product is terrible!

I installed these as in the instructions. Everything was fine until the weather heated up. The Velcro adhesive melted. Turned into goo. This made the step covers slip and slide The sticky adhesive got onto the bottom of our shoes and then onto the trailer floor. A complete waste of money. The sun shining on our steps could not be avoided for part of the day. It was only 80 degrees when it first started to happen. We went back to the wrap arounds and will stay with them.

Quality is good, but you’ll need extra adhesive. These fell off the first time we raised the stairs

I left the hook n loop strips in the warm house until they relaxed, then fastened them together. Before adhering to the carpet pads I used a heat gun to warm the back of the carpet pieces slightly. Don't over heat them! But the warmth provides good adhesion. Because I installed these when the weather was cold I used a heat gun to warm the metal steps. My dogs were much more confident going down the steps with the carpet. Now, in rain or if left exposed to dew fall, don't step out in your socks! They sweep out easily with a kitchen boom or stiff whisk broom. 5/23/2024 Update: These have failed miserably since initial application. Once outside temps got warmer, the adhesive turned to goo. Every time the stairs are raised for travel, the mats fall off. Both sides of the hook/loop remain attached to the stairs but will not stay attached to the mats. If I had to guess, it looks as if there was a reaction of sorts between the adhesive and the rubber backing since the strips stay attached to the metal steps. They are a gooey tacky mess and I have to figure out how to remove the parts still attached to the metal treads. Do not waste your money. 7/22/2024 Update... IF YOU ALREADY BOUGHT THESE and have had the same problem with not sticking... Here is what I did to salvage them. I used Goo Gone (not the gel!) to clean the steps and the carpet backs. Then cleaned with rubbing alcohol and let dry thoroughly. Then I applied lengths of Alien Tape (on Amazon) and placed the carpet back on the metal steps. So far so good!

These are well made, and great quality step covers but if you live in a high heat state like we do (AZ) I wouldnt recommend them. The adhesive used to mount them to the steps isnt great so it melts easily. Every time we picked up our trailer this summer they had all fallen off and the sticky adhesive was all over the floor where they landed. Then it gets all over your hands when you try to pick them up and re-mount them. Would recommend the ones with the little bunjie cords instead.

I was really hoping to like these but the sticky tape would not stay put on the steps. Our steps fold into the trailer and every time they fall off and leave a sticky film on the floor. I give them a 2
