Bought these for mirror on an antique vanity. Hoping to do a bit of restoration. I was able to cut them to the necessary length so they’d tighten without contacting the glass.No complaints!

Had to remove old nuts and use provided, but to restore the antique makup desk to functional, worth it.No it didn't devalue the furniture, its had a few repairs made over its life, so i feel the value is in it functioning and not in finding the original parts for repair.
