Very Heavy duty. This is 100 times better than having a steering wheel lock. They can cut your steering wheel in just a minute. Whereas, on the product, it's almost impossible. Very heavy gauge steel.

This is big and heavy enough to work as an okay deterrent. It isn't a particularly strong steel, but the part is big enough to resist bending and at least delay cutting. I think the bottom could be kicked out in some situations, when installed, and it would become more of a theft inconvenience. But that's still some kind of deterrent.The lock is a fairly standard cheap disc detainer lock.
