This cat scratcher post comes in two parts that easily attach to each other. I found a little hack—if you’re buying it for a kitten, keep in mind they’ll likely scratch it apart in just a few months. But you can extend its life! If it starts falling apart, just unscrew the lower part and swap it with the top portion. It’ll make the post shorter, but it’ll last your kitten a few more months. Great value and a simple solution for growing kittens!

Best thing is the base is big enough that the post won't tip over no matter how hard they go at it. I had the cactus 🌵 and it spent it's whole life on it's side 😛. Well made. Easy to put together and I've had it a couple months and it's holding up great!!

EDIT: The company reached out to me to offer a refund which I thought was a nice gesture. I will increase my rating by one star.My cat loved this scratcher! I bought it in November, and she uses it every day with such passion. This scratcher really distracted her from scratching up the couch. However, the middle part is made up of a cardboard tube and it just ripped at the base. I attempted to glue it back together with a glue gun, but only after 2-3 more uses, it ripped again. I’ll try repairing it with a toilet paper roll but I just wanted to leave this review to let other cat owners know about how flimsy it is. I wish it lasted longer than the 3 months I had it for.

I have a rambunctious kitten who loves to pounce and scratch, and he loves this! I put it by my bed to deter him from destroying my sheets and mattress, and it’s completely fixed that. It’s very sturdy and well-built, so as he gets bigger, he’s able to body slam it without it toppling over while he mauls it with his needle claws. Super easy to set up. Money well spent!

I have two cats and one is rather large. This is perfect for him to use the top half that is suited for his height, and my normal sized girl can use the bottom part. They have loved the attached toys. The mouse was pulled off once during aggressive play, but I was able to retie it. Overall post seems sturdy and the cats use it every day.

Everyone’s situation is different, but my cats love this thing. It gets scratched on and even climbed every day. (I have it sitting right next to a chair.) And it’s used a lot more than the expensive scratchers I’ve bought before. The height is good for my two year old boy too, he gets a good stretch leaning against this. It’s pretty light weight but they haven’t knocked it over yet. It was easy to put together. They did pretty much obliterate the little mouse toy hanging off the side (it’s just thin cardboard inside, not terribly sturdy) so I cut that off and tied a new mouse toy on in its place and they’re perfectly happy with that. I’m happy with this, especially for what it cost.

I bought this for my 4 month old kitten he loves climbing up it but the brush on the bottom is quite hard I think they hurt is paws it's a really good product strong and sturdy but is better for the bigger cat I would say but i would recommend it for a large cat

Davvero favoloso!ottima qualità prezzo, l’ho comprato perché al mio gatto piace arrampicarsi e perciò avevo bisogno di qualcosa di abbastanza alto, inizialmente non avevo nessuna pretesa per la qualità , visto il prezzo… ma mi sono dovuta ricredere perché davvero resistente e ben fatto, acquistare un prodotto simile in un negozio sarebbe costato almeno il doppio.Lo stra consiglio, oltretutto i miei gatti l’hanno adorato.
