Got it for my 86 Toyota. It was very easy to use. Just gotta remember to put on the extra attachment for M6 and M8 sizes. Definitely worth the price. Wish they have a better way to store the nuts.

I purchased this for one specific reason and one specific hole. I was nervous going into it but I bought the exact bit that I needed, a 15 mm. Because of the size of the hole and insert I was very nervous that I would not be able to compress the fitting into it. This tool was very simple to use, place the fitting in, screw it on and squeeze the handles. That's all there is to it. It worked perfectly. Not sure I'll ever use it again, but it was perfect for my application.

Superior usage design! I’ve used, purchased several different versions of this tool, hands down, by far, this is the most versatile tool going. Inside a 90 degree angle, or two, a corner, doesn’t matter. This design is superior! The ratcheting action allows you to know, feel the nutsert as it collapses and snugs. If you’re softer materials in between metals, gaskets or rubber and don’t want to crush the combination, this is your tool.

First off, the overwhelming majority of reviews on this page are for the 14" or 16" rivnut tool. This review is for the rachet type tool made by the same manufacturer of which there are only five reviews. My personal bench mark is whether the tool can install an M12 rivnut with ease. This rachet tool does the job whereas the squeeze type didn't make the grade especially for awkward installations. For some reason, the kit comes with zinc plated SAE rivnuts while the metric rivnuts appear to be stainless steel. I used a zinc plated M12 from my stock and it worked fine. I can't say whether the tool works for stainless which are probably much harder to compress. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Practice with a spare before you try for real. Satisfied for now. We'll see about durabiity.

Had what I thought was a good one, had one made by arrow, pretty well known brand. This one is both easier to use and feels higher quality.

I needed a tool to place strong anchors for bolts in the thin metal of my travel trailer. The instructions were clear and I was able to accurately and easily insert the rivet nuts. The tool appears to be quite strong for the 6 sizes of rivet nuts that it came with but I would not attempt to compress stainless steel rivet nuts. It has 3 SAE and 3 Metric heads with common threads that are easily changed. The one thing I would like added is the corresponding drill size for a particular nut as the holes have to be precisely sized. This tool and it’s extra rivet nuts are great value for the money.

I used the tool the minute it arrived! I had some loosed rivet nut on sub-frame of a motorcycle I'm working on, I was amazed how the tool performed to re-tighten the loose nut which save me doing extra work. There were a couple of bad rivet nuts needing replacements and completed that as well flawlessly. Would have been nice if it came with alloy rivet nut or as an option. Overall, very happy with the tool!

Used this for the first time today to add some anchors in the box of my truck. Everything worked as advertised. Two minor items...There wasn't a guide on what size hole I needed to drill for each rivnut (quick google searched and problem solved) and I wish the it came with a case to hold the rivnuts it came with. With the addition of these two items probably would have been a 5 star review!

Well made product. I used it the day it was delivered to install swivel seats on the benches of my aluminum boat. Worked great!
