Perfection. I have two smaller chihuahua mixes. Around 8-10 lbs. I got the XS for both and they’re perfect. We had to take themout the day the came to try them out. Not only were my pups comfortable, they were stylish and safe. Both jumped in the water and I will tell you even though it’s a life vest and they float, having the handle on the back is the best part of these. Quick and easy scoop out of the water if needed.

I bought this item and another one of a different color for our two dogs as recently one of our little dogs fell into our stream. We were able to rescue the dog but decided to buy the safety vests to keep our dogs safe around water.

Be sure to measure your dogs length and girth, don’t guess! I purchased a medium and it’s perfect! She is bold about the waters edge and has jumped out on a pool float in the pool! This will keep her safe!

This life vest is adorable. It was delivered today. We ordered a large for our Frenchie puppy. She is around 25 pounds or so. Due to the fact she will still grow we did not order the medium, especially since she has a large neck. We can adjust it smaller with the Velcro and it fits fine. In a test run it seemed to hold her up well in the pool, although I will be able to tell better when we actually swim in the pool. The top handle worked well.

Great jacket keeps my Chi safe around water. I kayak with her & she has fallen in a few times jumping from kayak to kayak ….. she floats really well in this jacket. Great quality, fits well, would highly recommend.
