As described but provides no protection around the plate. Water still gets between the cover and the plate. I suggest purchasing a plate cover that is more bubble shape.

I've tried a number of license plate frames and covers. When all was said and done, I decided to have my own frames made in metal by Best License Plate Frames to put the company name on them and match my California Legacy Plates. I still needed a cover to protect the plate from weather and to discourage theft of the stickers on the back plate. I tried a number of anti-laser and smoked and bubble covers, but in the end, all I wanted was a truly flat plate with no bead or raised edges to interfere with the frame. This is it. No idea about its longevity, but at this price, not worried. Highly recommended.

I specifically wanted a matte black, metal, 2 hole design frame for my new plate. I was skeptically looking at this product simply because of the price. Especially since it has 2 sets of frames and 2 clear shields plus hardware. Upon arrival, I immediately was impressed with the quality, the matte finish, sturdiness and design of the frame. The clear shield is nicely fitted with my plate behind 2 holder prongs on the frame. The fit of all 3 together is top notch.I can't say how well it will hold up at this point to time, UV rays and general weather but the quality of it leaves me feeling positive. Either way, I already have a another one since it's a 2 pack, to double the length of time I am happy with this purchase. Do not hesitate to buy this! 5 stars, especially for 18.99 shipped

Bought it for my 24' 4Runner and so far it has worked great. Tried other covers but they did not fit well on my Oregon Smokey Bear plates but this one does.
