I have a north facing home, so the back of my house gets direct sun all day. This shade filters the light perfectly, but I love that I can still see through it. Very easy to install and look like a quality product. They roll down and roll up effortlessly and are SO quiet! Highly recommend!

It’s a bit expensive, but you definitely get quality for the cost! I opted for the solar panel so it doesn’t ever need to be charged. It is for an accent window in my son’s bedroom that let in a ton of light and my son couldn’t sleep until it was dark outside. He is 7 so that was a problem. Since the window already has built-in blinds for the main window under the accent window and the accent window is too high for him to reach, this was the perfect solution. My son easily uses the remote to close it as needed to sleep at night (or if he takes a nap during the day) and it does a great job blocking out light. He loves it!

I have blackout curtains in my windows, but needed to add some roller shades because fall sun is now at an angle to shine on my computer screens in the morning, and for additional privacy on some basement windows, without closing the room off in the dark.These offer just the right amount of shade to light up the room, but prevent glare. They offer good privacy during the day, they almost seem one-way, looking from the outside you can’t really see in, but you can see out well see cars and people coming to the house. However at night when the lights are on they do become more see through from the outside, not a concern for me since I have the curtains too.These are well made, with pretty much everything made of metal including the roller tube and the bottom of the tube. Straight forward to adjust, I love how you can slow it way down so they very slowly and quietly retract. When setting the end point I wasn’t sure I was doing it right at first, but there is a bit of slack to take up first. They do show how to adjust the speed and end points in a video, but it’s not in this listing, you can see it in their blackout shades. I reverse mounted mine without issue. To release the blinds from the mount you push in the little white buttons in the front and tip it down from the back.At first I thought something was off with my shades since I would pull it down to any position and stop, but couldn’t get them to retract without pulling them down a lot more. I realized you can be more gentle with these and they retract just fine, I’m used to having to give a very hard tug on my old cheap blinds, it’s not needed on these.I also really like that they have non-standard sizes in 1†increments, my windows were just under the standard 39†for an inside mount, so I was able to order 38†without having to do an expensive and slow custom order. They fit great, I’d have gone for a 38 ½†if they made it, but I know making half sizes would require 2X the inventory.Overall I’m very happy with them

Nice window shades but it didn't fit our window because we didn't have enough depth at the header and it was too long. I thought it was just a little bit bulky but the shade quality, cordless and automatic retract were very nice. Would recommend if it it fits your window.

Very easy to install, looks great. Keeps out glare and heat but still lets you see through. I installed 2 of these at the sunny end of our sunroom. Makes all the difference in the world and you can definitely see the TV better! Still haven't figured out how to make them go up faster but not a huge deal.

We were updating our entire kitchen and flooring and this was the only thing left. The blinds are great for allowing good amout of light during the day and provide privacy. During night time, if you have kitchen lights on and someone is about 10 feet away, they can partially see what is inside but still not as bad as no blinds.
