I bought this hose for extra length on a river water suction intake for an irrigation pump. The hose itself was the same good quality hose I have purchased previously from other sources. However, both screw fittings leaked - not just drips, but a stream of water (even when not under pressure). I took the fittings apart and determined that the fitting's barb connector fit very loosely into the hose - the metal crimp around the barb simply could not compress the hose enough to make a seal. Fortunately, I had extra fittings from previous hoses which fit snugly into the hose and made a proper seal. The manufacturer must have tried to save money by buying cheap, ill-fitting screw fittings. No, I would not purchase from this source again.

The hose cam as promised and this is about the 4th time I have dealt with this company. I wAm sure I will be doing more business within company.

Would have been nice if the fitting sizes had been included in the item description. May end up taking them off and connecting the pump directly due to a poor fit.
