Worked like a charm. Easy enough to install as long as you can lift your car off the ground so you can fire underneath it. Way better than spending 2 or 3 times as much at a part store.

This part will fit your SRX with some modification to your original center support. If you are DIY'fer you can save $$ , I could not find a SRX support at any of the local parts store this was a dealer item, only CTS were available . First remove the old bearing from the housing by carefully prying open the small metal tabs . Do the same to the new one. Remove the damage center bearing with a bearing puller(utube has a video on this and harbor freight sells the puller) install the new one in the same order. Although you may have to purchase the puller , the $$ you save is still worth it. Also remember to install the bearing support in the same position as you removed it. Thank you,

I bought and installed this on my Cadillac CTS. The old one was completely destroyed. Solved the thumping noise when I accelerate. Used to sound like a square rock was rolling across the trunk. Not since installing this part. I installed it a couple months ago and it still working great for my daily driver.

*Swapped out the metal frame with the old one so it would work in my 2004 Cadillac SRX rwd. Easy fix if you remove the snap-ring first. This kit is an exact match except for the metal frame that holds the bearing. Alldatadiy has the replacement instructions, so I don’t know why so many say that you must replace the whole driveshaft-Crazy!
