I've already used this on several of my RC vehicles, and have had excellent results. Seriously, make sure to have your placement lined up before you stick it down, cuz it is a PAIN to get off without damaging anything!!It's extremely sticky and holds very strongly. In my boat it shows no signs of being bothered at all by getting wet, and in my truck it's more than strong enough to stay in place despite bashing hard through all sorts of terrain!!The only possible improvements I could see would be if they could make the tape backing easier to remove, and put it on BOTH sides of the tape. That would make it a whole lot easier to use. But that said it's great just as it is and well worth the fuss getting it on!

Get Tape! It holds very strong and I have ran my SC10 4x4 like crazy and the esc does not come loose! Removing the esc is easy but take some strength to get the tape to let go. But the tape does remove easy and clean. I always wipe down the tape area with alcohol first and the esc too to make sure no dirt is in the boding area and get great results. I have used it to hold pieces of lexan together and bonds like glue! and not easy to remove but again takes some force to remove but it will and clean no residue left behind, again use alcohol to make sure bonding areas are dirt and lint free and you should not have any problems. I'm buying my second role of this now.

I purchased this tape not for use in RC vehicles, but rather as an alternative to upholstery tape to deter my new cat from clawing at a faux leather ottoman. I'm a veterinarian, and often recommend the trick of using double sided tape on the areas of furniture a cat tries to claw to train them not to use those areas. My kitten took to using an ottoman made of pleather, and I worried regular upholstery tape would damage it. Double sided tape for posters was too weak and the kitten was able to pull it off. This tape was the perfect mix of being strong enough to stay on, sticky enough to discourage the cat, and gentle enough on the furniture. I put some on and removed a bit a few hours later and it came up with no problems. We'll see how it goes after leaving it on for a few weeks. It's one drawback is its rather pungent smell, but seeing as how it was intended for outdoor use, I cannot fault it for that. It did dissipate after a day or two. If you could improve the odor maybe this could be a new marketing strategy!

Excellent adhesion and pretty thin. Doesn't seem to be the type of material to leave a sticky mess after removal. My biggest gripe is getting the red peel off. Getting it started seems to be harder than it should be. Otherwise a good product so far.

I use double sided tape a lot and I recently bought a car with this tape on it. I couldn't believe of strong it was. So you can use less. This is my new tape. I normally buy Duratrax double sided tape but this tape is much better. Easier to remove too.

This product is able to keep my Sanwa receiver in place and up to now it is still in good place. I also use this tape to keep all of my MYLAPS transponder secured. It has been almost a month and all of the taping I did are still in place. I agree with other reviews sating that it is difficult to remove the non sticky part but, I tried to be patient. It served it’s purpose.

Sticks to the red protective film better than it does to anything else. Keeps peeling off the item you are taping when trying to remove the red plastic covering.
