I would recommend you make sure all your fish will actually eat this food. The first time I used this, my fish didnt eat any of it. it clouted the tank and grew a ton of gunk. Those fish now have an auto feeder. I left this with my tetras, beta, and danios and they love it. Worked well for just over a week. I would put this in a few days early and see how your fish react to it. When it works, its worth the money and ease of use.

These worked great for when we went on our honeymoon for 6 days. I only took off one star due to the fact it made the water pretty cloudy.

These were a life saver on my trip to England. Dont be fooled by how it looks it lasts that it would not last for 14 days, but it does if not longer. The size and appearance makes it large enough to last as long as it should and does not take up too much room in my fish tank.

I tried this vacation feeder for the first time ever in my fish hobby history because I did not want to bother my neighbor coming over just to feed one fish (prized as he was) while I was away. Mr Fish was the only animal at home. He had been through heater failures, filter failures, even sour tank water (my fault) over the course of his long life. And he lived and thrived. He was a very small fish when I bought him and now he is much larger. He was by himself in a 15 gallon home. I believed that the API Product would do the job of feeding Mr. Fish. By process of elimination, this is the only thing that changed in his world; and now he's gone. I am incensed. Do Not Make the same error I did; DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT..... any really consider if you would even buy a different brand of a similar product. In the future, when I set up another tank, I will use an automated mechanical feeder (which I ill buy on Amazon) that dispenses the real fish food flakes in my absence. Thank you,

I put these in my tank since I was going on a week long vacation. My tank with shrimp and neon tetras did very well but my betta definitely did not do well. He got so stressed that when I came back, his tail was shredded. Thankfully I was able to cure him but I wouldn't recommend this for betta.

These are just OK. You do not get the advertised days of feeding out of these in our experience. We ended up having to use twice the amount the second time around. Not bad for the price I guess.
