These are sturdy, well designed and easy to use. Planters on railings are difficult to get to fit. The plant hangers are expensive and they are hard to fit your railings. These planters have their own hanger which is adjustable. Others I have used often do not sit level. These have a lever in the Bach that will level out the planter. The only downside is that they don’t have longer sizes.

We have several sets we use on our railing on porches. They are wonderful, easy to use, fit well and are durable. We will use them for several years before having to replace them.

This planter looked great on my deck when I planted pansies in it. However, it didn't hold up well and eventually became a planter for the floor of the deck instead of for the railing. The pegs that are used to adjust the width and the arms that go over the railing simply are not sturdy enough to support the weight. If you want to use them for artificial plants, they would be fine.

Using it to plant herbs on a balcony rail. The adjustable arm and the adjustable center piece allows the planter to sit perfectly horizontal. I live in SoCal and we don't get much rain but it did rain the other day and the planter held up well. My rail is about 3" thick and I ended up using the center hole (3rd of 5 positions). If your rail is really thick and you have to use the very last hole on the adjustable arm, then I could see how it might not be strong enough to hold up a very heavy plant. But for me, it was perfect for my needs and seems very sturdy. One of the advantages of this product is that as the sun moves throughout the day, I can easily slide the plater across the rail to maximize how much sun I get on the planter.Some reviewers complained about the sticker but it only took me 5 minutes to remove. Just use a hairdryer to heat up the sticker and it comes off pretty easy. To remove any remaining residue, just use goo-gone or similar product and if you really want it clean, use a razor blade to scrap off any glue (after using the goo-gone).

Could not be more satisfied with this product. Fitting the box to the vinyl railing was a breeze. Nice basket weave finish to the plastic. Comes with a drainage pan at the bottom of the box. Five stars all the way around!

I loved these planter boxes, but they didn’t even last two seasons! They are currently both falling off of the rail because the plastic has warped and no longer holds the bottom up. Extremely disappointing quality for what I thought was a great item.

incredibly easy to put together and install. Very durable, sturdy in the wind on the railing. Looks and does well in the very hot Nevada sun!

I like the size, thickness ,looks and usability of the product. They were hung on the railing of my deck from the time they were purchase in the spring until the end of October, During the time, 2 of the planters fell of the railing during a heavy rain storm.. The clamps that held the planter to the rail had sheared off and planter fell and cracked as a result. The plastic cylinder inside the bracket FAILED probably due to the excess weight created by the rain. I was able to repair the planters and used hex headed bolts to hold the bracket tothe planter.

Le falto una pieza y me devolvieron mi dinero sin necesidad de devolver el producto. La instale y una de las paredes se rompió por lo que filtra el agua. No la volverÃa a comprar. No la recomiendo.

Everything works fine except there was a missing box clip/plug that hold the railing handles in place - does not impact use but is aesthetically, it is not nice. Please ship me an additional plug.

I ordered two that were used but was supposed to be good as new. One had a broken corner (cheap plastic) and one locking pin was missing. They were clean and didn't seem to have been used. Only so poor quality that they were probably returned.
