WB30T10074 Range Coil Surface Element. This element features pigtail, looped ends. This element is 8" in diameter. This element is 2600 watts. This element coil has 5 turns. This surface element has a silver centre medallion. The coil surface element supplies the heat to a cooking area on top of the range. No tools are required to replace this part. Simply pull the current element out to remove and slide the new element in, pressing firmly into place to secure.
"Y" Style Bracket
The range element replacement is a coil burner that has looped terminal ends to plug into the stove. It has a "Y" style bracket.
FIX SYMPTOMS
If the element does not heat either it or the control switch is defective. The coil can be tested to determine if it is at fault.
Cooking fast
As the picture shows, the item WB30T10074 Electric Range Burner will turn red when heated.
Helpful Tips
The element receptacle (or terminal block) wears out over time.
If the surface element is defective, you may want to replace both the surface element and the receptacle.

Arrived on time. Opened the box and plugged it in. No instructions but if you know you need a new burner you don't really need installation instructions. Pull the old one out, plug the new one in. Wouldn't hesitate to order again when the time comes to replace the other burners.

The burner was the correct size but the fit was a little off. the side opposite the connection does not flatten out and fit into the groove.

This item plugged in correctly to my stove and seemed perfect. When the stove was on the metal surface it got unbelievably hot. I was not using the new burner only one of the existing burners. I did not feel safe so I waited for it to cool and removed it from the stove.

The size is just right as described and works very well on the GE stove. I think it is powerful as original GE stove. The delivery was delayed but I could communicate well with the seller and the respond was super prompt.
